I only liked half of this EP, but the songs I did like carry a very unique fondness to them that I can't quite explain. I love the builds employed on both "Exit Hymn" and "Shine." The vocals are quite nice all around as well. Considering this was introduced to me via a former friend who I no longer speak to, there's an inherent associated bittersweetness, but I still quite enjoy it in spite of that.
