MEMORIALS - All Clouds Bring Not Rain
God Is in the TV
80
Just four more compositions finish this album, and again it’s the ghost of The Zombies that occasionally hovers above, as well as further memories of Nico and The Velvet Underground. These are pleasant memories, unlike the hail that is falling outside, striking the window in front of where I work. Be they Memorials, Electrelane, or WIRE, these are groups that will warm the cockles of your heart.
Our Girl - The Good Kind
God Is in the TV
80
Unlike their debut, this album is more grown-up.
Viji - So Vanilla
God Is in the TV
90
Although these grooves might not have been exactly what he was imagining, Vanilla Jenner has certainly given us a gift in this debut album, that I can only hope ignites her creativity yet more.
Suede - Autofiction
God Is in the TV
90

To anyone who might suggest that in 2022, Suede are no longer relevant, my answer to this is to take a listen to this album.

Drugdealer - Raw Honey
God Is in the TV
80

Music that lays firmly between the influences of his found home of the underground scene in L.A., where the lazy hazy west coast sounds of The Beach Boys and Steely Dan meet with those of fellow West Coast singer-songwriter Randy Newman.

MONO - Nowhere Now Here
God Is in the TV
90

Their own, personal wanderlust has taken them to almost every corner of the planet, and this experience has left a lasting influence on their music, different elements of which can be heard each time you press “play”.

Steo Wall - Where I’m From
God Is in the TV
90
You might come away feeling somewhat the voyeur, but remember that Steo has allowed us to be here.
