D-Beat

Developing in the early '80s, D-Beat is a style of Hardcore Punk originating from the Metal-influenced sound of the band Discharge. Typically features shouted vocals, anti-war lyrics supporting anarchism, and utilizes the distinct drum beat known as "D-beat". The genre shares a lot of similarities with Crust Punk, both striving for an aggressive and complex approach.
