i dont know what it is about this album. none of the songs are strikingly out there, but at the same time every single song is just so good. the only issue to me is that some songs feel slightly too long, but that shouldnt discredit the rest of them.
why it took me so long to put this at 100? absolutely no clue
but wetdream...
"i like you so much.
when i really, really like someone...
theres a way i show them how i feel"
... and that way is giving them a perfect score.
favourite songs: wetdream, revisited, lost in translation
draining puddles, retrieving bangers. this album is so good
favourite songs: Inclosed By Skies, Cartwheels Into The Abyss, Radio: P.C.
this feels like vylet pony but jane remover but male.
favourite song: uh oh! you've caught up with the present
I didn't really know what to expect going into the "Bedroom Pop" genre, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I had listened to some of Mickey Darling's music before of which several songs I thoroughly enjoyed (namely "SAY THAT YOU MISS ME", "VROOM VROOM", and "SOMEWHERE ELSE"). This album is certainly a different "more polished" style comparatively, which I can't say is a bad thing but it isn't ideal.

well, here i am, giving my first perfect score… and it’s rightfully deserved.
“My Name Is…” wow. I don’t even know what to say. A couple weeks ago, I remember saying I would probably never give a 100 to an album. Oh how quickly that was disproven. This album isn’t like anything I have listened to before. Everything just feels so good—so right. Given I previously listened to primarily Alternative music, this was definitely something different, ... read more
For months I had a few songs from this album constantly playing in my smart shuffle but never got around to listening to the full thing... until now. And to be honest, I should have listened to it sooner.
I don't really have much to say apart from this album consistently slaps. Peak Alt - Pop album.
Favorite Songs - Lovesick #1 (Misery), I Remember, Cruel Power (edit: every song fucking slaps tbh)
To be honest, the first time I listened to this I probably would have given this a 60. But after discovering more songs by Last Dinosaurs, I have found myself to like the album quite a lot more.
It's certainly quite different to KYORYU and the recently released Wellnxss, but it perfectly shows the evolution from In A Million Years.
Favourite Songs - Forget About, Dominos, Sense
Personally, I find the remakes in this album to be better than the original, apart from Purxst... which feels like an overly modernised version that takes away the original song's atmosphere. Other than that, the songs being remade actually made me like a lot of them more. Some would say Wellnxss doesn't stay true to the original, which yeah I do agree with, however the songs feel much more polished which makes it a lot better for a general audience.
Overall, this album certainly ... read more
I would have liked to enjoy this album more, but several of the songs are holding me back a bit.
A lot of it feels okay most of the way through with occasional spikes in quality.
For a debut album, it's great.
And Finally, Death. Genuinely the only song that ever made me cry the first time I listened to it. And also the song that brought me into Cacola, who has since become one of my favourite artists. It's a really fucking good song.
Favourite Songs - Death, Found Footage, I I I
Certainly less consistent overall than their previous album "Moving Out", but still has some bangers.
Favourite Songs - I Look Alive, On and On, Talking To Heads
Probably one of the first albums that I have liked every single song of.
The first five songs of this album actually cook so hard. Second half I wouldn't say I liked as much, but for sure still an enjoyable experience. Overall, a great indie rock album with such good vocals.
Favourite Songs - Ferrari, Runaway, Open Up
The album that introduced me to one of my favourite artists to date.
Damn this album is good. I've never really seen an album done like this tbh. The first half, KYO, has a unique 'gimmick' of seamlessly transitioning between songs which creates an interesting and continuous listening experience. The second half, RYU, while being less disconnected from song to song overall, still produces some bangers.
Overall, fire album all the way through, with a unique background and ... read more
As much as I like Pleaser, this album as a whole is just not it.
A lot of the songs don't feel very structured, like little thought was put into them.
A few of the songs are pretty good such as "Always Lookin In" (absolutely slaps) and "Degrade" but generally it feels sloppier than other things I've heard from them.
Favorite Songs: Always Lookin In, Degrade, Waiting For It
