Vastly different from anything Ruby has done in the past, with a laid-back R&B / PluggnB beat and heavenly vocals by lexycat in the mix. Didn't love this one as much as the previous tracks from them, but it still is a worthy release for each one's discography. Might be a grower.
edit: this is actually amazing lexycat's feature grew on me ruby is incapable of missing
Really impressive reissue of wickera, with four new bangers that when paired with the original tracklist results in an even fuller album experience.
The constant evolving sound that ruby presents is always pleasant to hear and makes listening to any project by them feel like a totally unique listening experience.
The fact that this album is entirely different from business casual and maintains the same level of production quality, vocals and creativity is just amazing and is the reason why rubyred is one of the best underground artists at the moment. I can't emphasize enough how good the production sounds, and how inventive this album feels. It also has a really cohesive tracklist with really good transitions throughout. Easily one of the best albums of 2024
