Another one says DJ Khaled, and another one says I. Just a random shoegaze record I found, japanese shoegaze at that. Was paroozing shoegaze projects and saw this absolute beauty of an album cover. It may be the best cover I've seen, like a noir Great Wave interpretation with a doomed girl centering it, just truly stunning. The actual music, is pretty good. I kinda wished I liked it more, i saw the bandname and album name and heard the sound and was like not what I was expecting. Its ... read more
Another day, another album to review and we got an interesting one here. I've listened to this like 3 times now to get my thoughts on it, but overall I think this is a really well put together album that produces a very satisfying sound. The world that is presented here, the immeasurably heavy weight of death and suicidal ideations is well crafted and hauntingly beautiful. It feels so real, both heavy and inspiring, full of distraught or contempt, a hollow empty sound or a visceral attack, ... read more
I think this may be one the most perfect albums I've ever heard. For whatever reason, I don't have anything to really say about this project. This is a nice little quick album with some emo-esque vocals mixed with shoegaze lofi beats. Its quaint, its simple, and it is an interesting listen. Ocassionally the vocals are bit much but the overall soundscape is lovely, and the last two songs are so beautiful. Tenshi has no words really, drowned out hums, and it serves as an amazing end to the record. There isn't much to say, its a just solid and intimate, a different vibe to bigger production projects that lends itself to more ... read more
I gotta stop listening to these big rap projects this year, a 30 percent hit rate is looking rough. Yeah so Peggy dropped again, I've enjoyed previous projects from him, that LP! project was good, Lay down my Life was also solid. And this one, it isn't horrible, but you'll never guess what it sounds like. This is another Jpegmafia album, little harder on the electronic beats then the previous ones I heard imo but its the same. Hes fucking bitches, hes getting rich, and hes ... read more
