c, xoxo was one of my most listened to albums of 2024, and also the most over-hated album I’ve listened to. c, xoxo is a love letter to miami, the place where camila grew up, & I find a lot of beauty in the album through the visuals & concept. camila is experimenting musically, & stepping outside of her comfort zone, making something that is authentically her (even though many claim it’s “in authentic”). i will forever applaud her for risk-taking on this ... read more
