genuinely one of the most revelutionary albums ever. Nevermind really pushed Nirvana, and for that matter, the whole grunge scene, into the spotlight, and for good reason. every bit of this album just feels like it fits. the guitars, the bass, the drums, the lyrics, everything. i really cant say anything except for how good this album is.
probably one of the best grunge albums ever. the lyrics on this album (with the exception of a few songs, iykyk) are probably some of the best that kurt ever wrote. the guitars, tonally and compositionally, are also some of the best to come out of the grunge scene, escpecially in songs like Heart-Shaped Box and Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.
I really dont tend to make negative reviews, but this has to be an exception. this album is a mockery and a flanderization of what the grunge movement was. the the instrumentals are basically a copy and paste from nirvana, which, honestly, isnt that bad on its own, but with the absolute dogshit that is the vocals, its just horrid. this man sounds like hes just moaning into the microphone with no regard for tone or pitch. YOU CANT EVEN TELL WHAT HES SAYING HALF THE TIME. genuinely a horrible ... read more
after listening to and hearing the story of "its fine to dream", another project made by autumn/j, this EP takes on a whole different meaning.
This album means a lot to me. I wont get into my sob story about when and why i started listening to good kid, but this album hits really close to home for me. the listening party i went to made the experience even better, being with friends, family, and people i dont even know, and being able to sing, dance, and talk about a band i love with my whole heart with likeminded people. genuinely one of the best albums ever.
i usually dont like rap, but this pleasantly surprised me. nothing really stood out to me (besides the 3d visualizers, those were sick but thats unrelated) but overall very interesting sound. id need to give this another listen to review it better, but i like it!
this album is literally perfect im not even kidding. so many of these songs made me cry and so many made me dance. all around its just a flurry of emotion and i love it. kate said and industry are probably my favorite songs ever.
those 2 critic reviews? STUPID. DUMB. THEY DONT GET IT. MAN BITES DOG is the epitome of femtanyl; true genreless, chaotic, loud, and unapolagetic in all that it does. highly reccomend this for any electronic music listeners.
honestly, i dont have much to say about this album. the opening and closing tracts are pretty good, and there are definitely some bangers. probably the collest part is camellia SINGING in 2 of the tracks, UMBRAL and BITE ME MORE PLS (both of which are my favorite tracks)
perfect opener. definitely has more noticible production issues than the rest of the album, but everything else about the song makes up for it.
the themes of nuclear extinction mixed with the use of a theramin (is that how you spell it?) for most of the melodies gives this song a vibe unlike any other.
the production on this song is on another level. the guitars make it feel almost liminal, it feels huge but youre just stick in the middle. i would comment on the lyrics, but this song is very dense in that aspect.
absolutely one of my favorite camellia albums. 1nput this 2 y0ur spine, dance with silence, alchoholic steampunk engines, and flamewall are all 10/10 songs. less complex with the production (for camellia standards) in some spots but i think that it works in the albums favor.
