It's inconsistent for sure, but what did you expect? Both Liddiard & Pereira were just a pair of zoinked out childhood friends in their late teens to early twenties making exactly the kind of music they wanted, in an ultra-culturally-isolated place where no one even cared for that kind of thing. However, a lot of what shows up here would go on to shape some of the best rock music to come out of anywhere in the 21st century, so it still possesses some historical value for that alone.
