Westside Gunn’s new album is something I had high expectations for, and while it didn’t fully meet expectations, it is still good. The ending really saved this project though as the beginning of this was underwhelming.

CHROMAKOPIA is the new LP from Tyler, the Creator, and I really like it. I find it to be a unique and daring project that is a collage of many different sounds and styles. I think it all comes together well, from more soulful parts, to parts that could be considered more energetic. Overall, great.

BigXthaPlug delivers a unique southern trap album with great production, and energetic raps all the way through. I really love this album, but it does seem repetitive with similar flows and a similar formula. But overall, really good.

In the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop, few collaborations stand out quite like A.J. and the Rizzler. “SHINBANGUMI” was an album that I was looking forward to listen to just based off the cover art, genre description, and reviews. This LP went above and beyond my expectations. I could only really describe this project as a bundle of joy and good vibes.

My first ever listen to glaive, and after seeing some reviews, I was excited to see what this album had to offer. I do not feel like I will be listening to glaive for a while now, this album for me was both boring and eclectic.

Ian is like any other copycat in the rap space, except he markets himself as not apart of the culture. This album is boring and really bad.

Lupe Fiasco has come out with a concise, enjoyable album that I believe is one of the best of this year. Each song is really good, and the two weakest songs, ‘Bigfoot’ and ‘Outside’, are still good. Lupe Fiasco’s style and ability in rapping really shine through on this project.

I found the intro to be a bit unnecessary, but the other songs I found really wonderful. I had previously known Justin Vernon from his collaboration with Bruce Hornsby on the song Cast-Off, which is a song I really love, and this EP reminds me of that song a lot. In conclusion, this EP is good, and I really enjoyed it, and happy that this is the first Bon Iver project I’ve listened to.

A good mixtape that makes me very excited for jus have fun vol. 3. This project is fun to listen to, with most songs having good production.

ScHoolboy Q’s album was the was a sign that this year would be one of the best years for hip-hop in recent memory. The album itself is a unique project made up of many songs with many styles to the point where everybody has something they like from this album.

I really wanted to love this project, but I can't. This Lil Yachty album is his most recent since "Let's Start Here", an album that proved how good at music he is and made me think that I would really enjoy his next project. This album does a great job at bringing together multiple different ideas into a nice, well-made album.

An exciting project from Haitian-American rapper Mach-Hommy, that shows his creativity and personal style. This project is 47 minutes of entertaining songs with wonderful production and captivating raps.

A step in the right direction from Lil Tecca, with some songs really showing his potential, though sadly also with some very boring, uninspired parts.

Mixtape Pluto is Future's new mixtape, and it is not good. The first three songs are entertaining and energetic, the rest, on the other hand, either suck, are boring, or both.

DaBaby needs to start trying harder.

Those first songs had flashes of the old DaBaby, but the rest of the songs were just bad. But hopefully his upcoming album will be a full return to good DaBaby music.
