This is just pretty boring. There are some hidden gems in there, but for the most part this is just a project that gets super stale super quick. This reminds me of a far less creative and catchy Still Woozy. I don't have much to say.
Simply put, this is banger after banger! The 'lesser' songs on this album are few and far between, and I wouldn't even consider them skips. This is synthpop perfection with excellent lyricism, amazing vocal performances, and catchy production. Front to back this is an enjoyable experience, and the best part is its replay value. This is pop done right.
Yeah, no, this isn't good. The vocals are annoying, the lyrics are shallow, and the production is formulaic. This album was a drag to get through. People will adore it because of how inoffensive and radio-friendly it is, but don't be fooled, Tate McRae is an industry plant and doesn't seem to have much actual talent, but I guess only time will tell.
This album is just okay. I like his voice, but this project just ends up getting stale rather quickly. I think this album gets stronger towards the end, but by then, I've already lost most of my interest. This can be more creative and lyrical all around.
Laura Jane Grace has a great voice and a very good grasp on songwriting, but this album really only finds its footing and starts to feel cohesive towards the end. This project feels like a lesser version of superior past albums while not adding innovation or originality. I don't necessarily feel a need to return to this.
