The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
83

Fun and flowy, this project feels a bit too short to really judge what they are fully capable of.
But it sounds really good for a first.
Highly reccomend

Draft Day - Close 2 The Sun
97

Better than Yachty

Concrete Boys - It's Us Vol. 2
72

Pretty good album imo, the production and beats are just top tier (sadly too often wasted on mediocre performances) with Draft Day and Camo definitely being the higlights of this album.

While not offering anything too special, Yachty also delivers on most songs.

A quite enjoyable album that falls flat after a couple of songs

Gucci Mane - Freaky Gurl
95

One of Guccy's catchiest song ever imo

Sk8star - Designer Junkie
72

Feels nice to hear somerhing more classical compared to what most of the underground is releasing.
This project does not feel boring and also has great production that pairs up well with the lyrics and Sk8star 's flow

Brent Faiyaz - Icon
98

What have you done to my ears Brent faiyaz...
Pure perfection, no lows, only highs on this project.
I don't think I've been this moved by an album before.
Despite being only 10 songs long, this album tells and makes you feel everything you need to know about Brent Faiyaz
Absolute Masterpiece

Bizzy Crook - What Do You Like
84

Groovy and fun to listen to

Don Toliver - OCTANE
77

Starting to grow on me, but I expected a bit more.
Couple of standout songs and some good samples tho, but that's mostly it. Kinda wanted something more energetic.

fakemink - The Boy who cried Terrified .
20

Do people really listen to this chipmunk??? 🫩
Litterally the same song over and over again with a slight beat change. Not worth a listen.

David Guetta - Locked In
45

Why even release it atp...

Lil Tecca - DOPAMINE
80

Same flow over and over again, most songs are pretty enjoyable but overall this project feels redundant.
Despite these issues, Dark toughts and a couple of other songs up the bar a little.
Partially thanks to their cloudy production and Tecca's catchy phrasing wich makes most of the song enjoyable on their own.

Lil Uzi Vert - Pink Tape
76

Arguably one of HipHop's most experimental album of the late 2010's
This is one of Uzi's best project and probably my favorite, partly because of its creativity and originality.

On the downside, Pink tape does feel bloated and some songs just dont add anything to it. This album would easily be considered a masterpiece if Uzi only kept the 15 best songs on the album.
I don't mind waiting another 3 years if his next project is as creative, and more polished

Ty Dolla $ign - TYCOON
78

Nothing revolutionary but still a pretty decent album.
Tycoon starts off with a couple of good songs but rapidly gets a bit underwhelming with most of the songs on this project being too banal.

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
84

Great album overall. Lots of unnecessary beat switches imo, and I've foud most of the features to be let downs. Except for Doechii and for Brent Fayaz who Sounded absolutely HEAVENLY on "Stay here 4 ever".
"Playa" and "Don't be dumb" where my other two other standouts.
But c'mon, like... 8 YEARS for THAT???

Che - REST IN BASS: ENCORE
63

Verry solid album overall, even tho i've found it pretty overstuffed and waayy too long wich made it a bit boring during certain moments. The agressive beats and singing didn't really leave room for ma to breath wich I've found a bit overwhelming.
You can really feel the WLR Carti influence in this project, with similar beats, flows and lyrics.
With that being said, dropping that kind of album at only 19 years old is really impressive... and there's a lot of room for ... read more
