the album Slide is a stunning portrait of who i think george clanton is as an innovator. he paints beautiful pictures through hypnotic and transporting instruments such as synths, synths and some more synths. the track Make It Forever is genuinely one of the best hypnagogic pop songs i might have ever heard and despite being released in 2018, this album truly feels like if it was made 50 years ago or even 50 years into the future, you wouldn't even realize it. this album is like a time ... read more

injury reserve was a group consisting of 3 members: parker corey, ritchie with a t and stepa j. groggs. however, in june of 2020, the world lost groggs to an unknown reason to this day. and i think By the Time I Get Back to Phoenix is one of the most expertly crafted, abstract and meaningful perspectives and portrayals of grief. groggs's death seemed to completely impact the sound.
