Smithereens feels like a clear evolution of Nectar. Joji's production quality is getting better and better, lyrically it is similar to what we have heard in his discography where we can expect something well elaborated.

One of his best songs objectively, starting with a real vocal evolution of Joji. In Smithereens I can feel that "Die for you" is one of the songs where you can feel the essence of Joji at the highest level, it feels fresh, giving us to understand that Joji has a lot of room for improvement for the better.
