This album is pretty solid overall and really does feel like songs that encompass their entire journey. Songs like Heat Of The Moment and Mirror To The Sky remind me of the 2010s pop they were known for, while songs like No Time To Talk and Greetings From Your Hometown are nods at musical styles they grew up with. The emotional depth in songs like Lucky and When You Know really elevate the album from most songs just being more of a basic pop vibe. Not that these songs are bad by any means but ... read more
I liked this a lot more than the average person. These songs are a lot better than his last album due to the fact that his hooks and lyrics are truly more creative. To be fair there are some not great songs on here like Miami but some really cool songs like Genesis. These songs have a lot more emotion than I was expecting and you can really hear it in songs like Superman and Jack & Jill. The storytelling he and his writers create are truly some of the best in country. There was not a song I ... read more
It’s been a few weeks since the hype died down and I haven’t really changed my mind too much on this album. I really wanted to like this album a lot more than I did. It does have some good melodies and catchy beats but at the end of the day it’s just Okay. His voice is very good on some songs but unlike his other albums he does not utilize his amazing voice. And I’m not the biggest fan of some of his lyrics or the voice memos (I get the idea but not a fan). Not what I ... read more
The Band Camino never seems to disappoint and they have again some solid and weak songs, but nothing great to raise this rating. Per usual the vocals and instrumentation stand out in this album with lyrics being very repetitive and simple. Songs like Limbo and Infinity definitely raise this album. This is a good summer drive album which will have some good catchy songs but then you could easily forget them 5 minutes after. Solid but nothing that really stands out, very safe album for them. ... read more
Every time I see Reneé on a TikTok clip she is just unlikable to me, however her amazing talent really shows on this album making it a huge surprise for me. I have not really listened to her previous albums but this album came into my algorithm with “Mad” and it reminded me of a rock pop vibe like Olivia Rodrigo. The melodies throughout this album are very infectious and the lyrics are a mix of baddie and kinda tragic. The guitar tones on the upbeat songs are simple but ... read more
