The Mountain is a beautifully crafted work of art. It's melancholic, fun, and profoundly moving at its core. It could be the best of Damon Albarn's whole career. Each track contributes meaningfully to the album’s broader narrative, while the instrumentals feel richly layered, lush and immersive. There is also a renewed spirit of experimentation in the production, one not as prominently felt since Plastic Beach (2010).

Looks like I'm the only one who loves it. Very consistent and sounds exquisite. Yes, I found it boring in my first listen too, but it clicked soon.
