Ænima is a must-listen album filled with heavy riffs, near-angelic vocals and sarcastic songwriting that could interest any music nerd. The former half of the album is one of the strongest starts to an album I've heard, with Stinkfist and H. especially being standouts. The themes of spirituality, metamorphosis and ascension are conveyed extremely well through the lyricism and hypnotic instrumentation throughout the album.
