I went into Iceman expecting another bloated Drake project full of half-finished ideas and passive aggressive bars, but honestly this surprised me. The production here is much better than most of his recent output, especially in the first half. There’s still a lot of bitterness hanging over the album and the disses are exhausting at this point, but tracks like “National Treasure” and “Make Them Cry” show flashes of the version of Drake that I wish we got more of. ... read more
I'm really disappointed with this album. After a project like "Dangerous Summer", which I really enjoyed, I was expecting Yeat to drop his best album to date in "ADL". Unfortunately, this album is far from his best. This track list definitely overstays its welcome and there are no standout tracks for me.
