So incredibly good, hard to compare it to previous album because imo they're trying to accomplish vastly different things.

First half is a lot more memorable however I like the closing track a lot.
Far shorter than i would have hoped and a few questionable lyrical choices however overall i actually enjoyed this a lot. Dev always delivers on production and it showed here, the grandness on the closing track actually caught me by surprise.
however I will say the promo cycle for this album was diabolical.

I think loyle carner has one of those voices which makes half of the tracks sound exactly the same
not bad by any means though i really like ‘time to go’
I don’t know why I pushed this album to the side for so long, it’s actually so so so so good. I have never heard anything like it.
On first listen, The Magician is my favourite probably but it may change as i listen more
Incohesive but also really fun. Some of the tracks are not really my cup of tea but that's down to my personal taste.
Abandon Me and NOLA are really good. Wish the Danny Brown track was longer </3
title track and payphone are nice but the rest are not really my cup of tea. I think it’s missing a lot of things which made me love the shapeless EP so much.
