yes, i have been waiting for this.

I became an orbit not too long ago, and this was honestly an unxpected, but well wanted album for me, since ODD EYE CIRCLE became my favourite sub-unit of LOONA after I listened to Max&Match. (illegally ofc) During May, when I became an orbit with the urging of a friend, I found out about the massive situation going on with LOONA and their former company, it felt bad because I thought it would be unlikely any sort of LOONA-related content would be coming in the near-time, even from the girls that were free at that point, and thank fuck I was proven wrong. This album is a wonderful continuation and evolution of the OEC sound made back in 2017, with Version Up adding onto the OEC sound adding on retro sounds and as entire new influences for OEC, jersey club in AF1, and a bit of jazz in My Secret Playlist. Though i guess it's no shock the consistent OEC sound is continued since there's also producers that worked with LOONA and OEC before (G-high of Monotree, Artronic Waves and BADD).The intro is quite like other LOONA intros after # and &, with the intro being reminiscent of the title track's instrumental and bearing no lyrics. What I DID NOT EXPECT AT ALL was for them to use snippets of old OEC songs (SCL,LOONATIC,and Uncover). I don't know how they even got away with that. The title track, Air Force One, is the jersey club influenced track talked about before release. Its one of my favorites off the album, with it being the most upbeat song off the album. Je Ne Sais Quoi is a notably retro-inspired banger of a song, being also a favorite of mine, might be my number one. Lucid is a laidback and dreamy R&B song that recalls Max&Match, specifically Starlight, a song i loved alot off the album, Lucid may not be my favorite off the album , but i still love it alot. Love Me Like continues the retro-inspired banger train, with it not being as good as JNSQ imo, it still bangs a ton. My Secret Playlist is the most unique song off the album, and my number one off the album EASILY. It manages to be simple yet incredibly catchy and unique all at the same time. not to mention THAT JAZZY BRIDGE. It recalls Uncover and Chaotic for me. Only flaw with the song is how short it is..
