My Propeller is a good song, but already not the strongest out of Humbug. And the B-Sides don't bring anything really special. I like this single, but I think it wasn't really necessary, they could've kept only Crying Lightning and Cornerstone as the main Humbug singles.

One of the Monkey's best single! I haven't talked nearly enough about how strong their B-Side game is, and this single perfectly showcases what I mean. Cornerstone is a great love song that makes me cry every time I listen to it, but once you enter the second track things get much more interesting. Catapult and Sketchead are such underrated songs, and Firght Lined Dining Room is one of the Monkey's best works. Crying Lighting is probably the first thing I'll show to aliens when they visit Earth, it's one of the best songs I've ever heard. I also really like the Nick Cave cover, I love Alex's rawness, and the heavy-ass guitars laid over Matt Helders' strong tom-tom work, definitely better than the original. The 3rd song is just ok :/ . Great first single outta Humbug tho!!!

All the grittines and garage sound initially brought by their debuilt album is also found here, but with a more dark a sinister sound. Great great album with absolute bangers all around. Compared with WPSIATWIN this album has a bit less 10´s and a bit more ´mid´ songs, but it still carry a great atmosphere all around and the 2007´s monkeys are still one of their best eras.

Teddy Picker big goat song outta FWN, although the other 3 songs (played by the monkey´s allias The Death Ramps) bring a big FWN vibes, they bring this single´s score a bit down :(.

Da Frame 2R is such a fucking good song, really sad it never made into the album. Matador is good but not really that good.

How can the monkeys group togheter 4 straight bangers in one single? Answer: Flourescent Adolescent! Its here they start to develop a different sound from WPSIATWIN, with more thin souding guitars, but an even darker atmospheres. This is officially the beggining of their 2007 era.

Perfect single all around, with two perfect songs. Brianstorm is already a certified banger, but what really shines here is the B-Side 'Temptation Greets You Like Your Naughty Friend'. It's a perfect blend of everything they did in WPSIATWIN and everything that would still come in FWN. I also love Dizzee Rascal feat in this song.

Best fucking debut I ever heard in my entire life!!! Out of 13 songs, 10 of them are straight 10/10s. Even the weakest songs like Red Lights, or Perhaps Vampires, are still absolute bops. Arctic 2006 peak performance, too bad Dukes Up John kinda breaks the single, but still a good song

Settle For A Draw is one of the best Arctic Monkeys songs ever, too bad it never made into WPSIATWIN. 7 and Stickin To The Floor are just lowkey head boppin bangers. And I cant even describe When The Sun Goes Down (song of the century).

´I Bet´ its the fucking goat, and Bigger Boys show their strong BSides game. But ´Chun Li´ lowkey fucks it up.

Great first single, but still not showcasing their best performance in 2006.
