'Chinese 070 shake' , yep , that idea came to me the first time I listened to this , because of one recommendational message from music streaming service , of the song #3天赐的声音 she collaborated with P-Kid . The performance in the project focused more on melodic parts , that made this sounded like the recent-era alt-R&B instead of rap . Just like 070 Shake / L'Rain , way better than Tirzah .
Some others also mentioned her similarity with other artists a lot . The way Shin Li kept her voice low , the autotune usage in the second half , is very much '070 Shake-type' , well the third time I refer to this name . But the songs in this project are more progressive and develop-mentive (bars by bars to keep listeners finish the song) . My 'most tolerable' choice of 070 Shake's album is <Modus Vivendi> . Her last two releases were just boredom and I never would listen to another time just for listening (not for referencial purpose) . Shorter words , I consider this project to be executed better than most of 070's .
The concept of this project is connected to the primary artist's other side of life : manufacturing , engineering , mechanics and automatoin brought out the concepts '零件' '尺寸' (device components , measurement) . The artist lived under the image also as a component to the society , and tried to 'fit in the system' (配合尺寸) . Shallow and profound at the same time . '那是血肉还是零件' (is that bodyparts or just components) , line of a desperate shout-out to her life .
