this album has higher highs to me than the other one i reviewed but lower lows. i think a good 40% of the album could be cut and not much of value would be lost. at its best, the album is hilarious and inventive. i particularly like "NYOTAIMORI!" and i think brokie agrees with me cuz it's the album's only single. "BINGO!" and "BEACH DAY!" are the albums clear low points to me and i really cannot stand them. they're listenable in the verses but the ... read more

album has two hydrogen bombs on it but there are a few coughing babies too. i think "Sympathy is a knife" is single-handedly why this album works sonically, and "So I" is why this album works emotionally. both are beautiful near-perfect tracks. on the other hand "Talk talk" and "Apple" exist. the former doesn't work sonically for me at all, and the latter is the same case but emotionally. the rest of the songs range from solid executions of unique ... read more

a lot of this album is brokie picking up blckk's slack. that being said he has some fun moments too and i did learn to appreciate his specific delivery. his flow + the melodies in MONEY! are genuinely infectious. on the other hand, a lot of the production is either really boring or annoying unfortunately. but the ones that are good are very good. the sentimental songs near the end are nice but don't wow me. i think i just prefer issbrokie as a rapper more for her energy and the songs ... read more
