Though I've felt like this is generally a less cohesive project the their previous EP "Red Room," I also feel like this project opens up for some of the bands most interesting sonic ideas so far that, more than anything, are things I'm beyond excited to see built upon in the future.

This is one of the most interesting underground metal projects I've come across; not only from the album's context but from my own personal experience surrounding it.

First discovered this record from finding out there were some guest features here from Avenade, an artist I already rock with heavy - and listening to this one its just a really well-executed and textured electronic house project! I do feel some ideas play out for longer than they needed to - the project would have done well with a little bit of trimming - but even in spite of that it's a great record that very much delivers on the promises set by its genre.

Though I'm not as strong on this record as I was UGLY DEATH, I still have a pretty heavy appreciation for this one! Despite the title here, UNKILLABLE ANGEL sacrifices a lot of the apocalyptic imagery of a record like UGLY DEATH - instead opting for a much more introspective and unapologetic personal look from Ada.
