I have been a fan of Gorillaz since my teenage years, and it's interesting to revisit this album years later. My first surprise was realizing how some songs that I've honestly forgotten were actually some of my favorites, like Sound Check (Gravity), Double Bass and M1 A1.

It's an interesting music collection, but they're all so short that they lack any sort of substance.
This EP starts off really strong with what I wouldn't call "experimentation" per se, but a type of production that I wasn't expecting. Even though it doesn't go all the way, and it still follows the same formulas, it was a nice touch that I really enjoyed. Starting on Thirsty, the songs go back to the "normal K-pop" that you would expect from this kind of group. Not really bad, but not great either. Nonetheless, it is a good EP.

This is not exactly bad but it really has some cheesy lyrics and all that "2010 pop rock emo band sound" which was attractive at the time but just don't work anymore. Nonetheless, I still know those same cringe lyrics by heart and I still sing them with all my lungs. So, yeah.
