Teens of Denial but Christian. All of the songs are mildly worse, but they’re not all bad. The ballad of Costa Concordias remake, Ravenous House, is still really powerful. But some of the changes on the album are just goofy ngl. Why did they change “felt like a walking piece of shit” to “felt like a walking alien”. It just feels clunky yk. It’s still teens of denial tho so I can’t hate too much
If this album was an ep and only had You, Creep, Anyone Can Play Guitar, and Blow Out, it would probably be one of the best eps of the 90s, but unfortunately the rest of the track list on the album is mostly forgettable and not as interesting, especially compared to the rest of Radioheads catalog. I hate this album. Not because it’s bad, every song goes crazy imo. The instrumentals being either bare bones or overwhelming makes it so that each song has its own unique feeling to it. Jeff Magnums voice, while definitely being odd, really packs a punch and makes every word impactful. The story telling an also pretty good, even though the og concept is lowkey stupid. This is one of the closest thing to perfection that we can get in a song I swear, no part of this song misses. In its six minutes of run time it makes sure you never get bored.
