Yeah uhhh.......I Dont like this
Mike is beating a dead horse at this point, and i totally understand if they wanna continue Linkin Park with the new singer, but this is so, lifeless, this is just the bare minimum, i heard cover bands doing Linkin Park songs better than this, everything feels, off in this single, and it doesn't make me excited for the new album coming out in November, i don't know what else to say...other than my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ... read more
HOLY FUCK THIS IS LITERAL MUSICAL ASSAULT OF THE ABSOLUTE BEST KIND!
How the fuck did i missed out on Zemeth for so fucking long?! i was getting burned out with Music and this is like a fucking whiplash pulling me right back and giving me a REASON to check stuff like this out, because it is so fucking loud, so fucking amazing, no moment of rest, just pure mayhem! i recommend everyone who loves Melodic Death Metal to check this out, this is nothing like i've heard before, and if you are ... read more
12 Years of wait
12 years is a long time, there are albums that justify such a long wait time, for example, my personal all time favorite metal album took 11 years to materialize, but certain albums just aren't worth waiting for, like the infamous Chinese Democracy from Guns N' Roses, which took a whopping 15 years to finally be released, now Time II is in that weird position where for the longest time, everyone but the die hard fans thought it will never come out, yet here we are, ... read more
......Eeeeeeeeh
Hybrid Theory is an album i always flipflop around because there are moments where i like certain things and then the next second i just hate it, the best way i can describe this album is like having an on and off relationship with someone,
to start with the positives, Songs like In The End is a timeless classic, it encapsulates everything about the early 2000s Metal scene that many peoples loved, hooky melodies, a song that speaks to the soul, and clearly tells a story with ... read more
The Hunting Party is arguably the most underrated Linkin Park album you can find in their discography
I am a huge Linkin Park fan, they were one of the first bands i started listening to when i was younger, this album came out after two previous ones that i personally, just don't feel any attachment to, A Thousand Sun had some redeeming qualities, but Living Things bored me to death.
So imagine my surprise when i first listened to The Hunting Party when i was a teenager, the opening of ... read more
Whoever is responsible for that absolute rip-off of Do I Wanna Know by the Arctic Monkeys on the song Disease deserves to be slapped in the face
This is the kind of music you use when you wanna break speakers by turning this up to the max
Curiosity got the better of me, between the frantic closer, the adrenaline pumping beats, and the Interlude being over 5 minutes long with difficulties to not crack up and laugh is just simply put, amazing, i love every second of this, there wasn't a single moment where i was not hooked up because this album was just a beast to listen to, the references to MLP And DDLC, playing Minecraft like a fucking chad, the funny one word note on Bandcamp just saying "No" on the Car Crash ... read more
Was anybody surprised this album would be the worst Metal album of 2024? or the worst album of this year? this is fucking Ronnie Radke we are talking about and Falling in Reverse, at this point, is just a vanity project to him
This is a bonafied compilation album only featuring 4 new songs, because Ronnie in his great wisdom unleashed 2 of the supposed "6" new songs onto us, one of them (Ronald) featuring Certified Nazi Enthusiast Alex Terrible (and no, im not making this shit up) of ... read more
I Wanna die :)
Skillet in their great wisdom decided to become independent after 20 years of being at Atlantic, which bought us albums like Collide, which i still think is a fine album, to Comatose, which was fine, to Awake, which was meh, to then Rise which was mediocre at best, and then a trio of albums that was so bad that its not even worth mentioning
This is the first song from Skillet since becoming independent, and before i even listened to it i thought "please dont be as bad as ... read more
Scat Fetish the Album
I counted like 50 mentions of shit, fart, poopie, or diapers, and over 30 of them were Oh Shhh...
Somehow this "album" is only about 23 minutes, and even those feel dragged out and bad, especially when you realize Ice Spice only has one, fucking, flow, one fucking beat repeated horribly to draw out the runtime of this already short album, i genuinely don't understand how can big music review sites like Pitchfork and Rolling Stone give this album high ... read more
So after TFK reissued this album, i decided to listen to them a lot since they were a part of my childhood, along with...artists who shall not be named (yes im talking about you Skillet)
Both this album and the Reissue are really amazing, the Reissue having talented artists from Sixx:AM, Adam Gontier of Saint Asonia and Three Days Grace's fame, Icon for Hire, Eva Under Fire, Art of Dying and so much more contribute on the Reissue, and it is clearly a team effort, tracks like Courtesy Call ... read more
TL;DR. Still the worst thing i've ever heard
Just over a year ago, i made an infamous review of LIBAD where i went on an AVGN-esque rant on why i hate this record, ultimately, a part of me regrets that review, and it took me a lot of willpower to get through this album again to properly review it this time, while i enjoyed my 5 minutes of fame and taking the piss out of everyone a year ago in that specific review over on RYM, i decided to re-write a review for this album today
So...to ... read more
