Machacha is a mainstay producer in the indie scene, but Nvy Jonez Lkr didn't do much for me here.
Steiner Math: Track Ratings = 84, overall User Score = 76; therefore, I'll go 80. Bc I enjoyed this album a lot, not knowing or caring about all the bullshit (i judge art for what it is--never spread personal feelings to it.. okay, unless it's Diddy). Fairly dope ode to yesteryear with very minimilast golden age boom bap and sound ol' school catered rhyme scenes from Sparks. This sounds STRAIGHT out of mid 90s which is both a blessing and a curse.
I want to hate this and I want to like this. First off, you got Da Beatminerz giving us some of their most consistent boom bap in quite a minute. It's kinda bummy that they aren't as relevant as they should be.
