You've heard it all before. Some of the music has some interesting sound, but the mix is super compressed sounding and like your nephew got a hold of your equipment and rapped over some decent beats with awful mumble lyrics, with everything but the kitchen sink vocal effects. An EP that should sound very large, if produced well and filled with lyrics that grab. This is where trap/hyperpop goes wrong.

I foresee this to be the first of a slew of albums no doubt to come, that have finally hit a brick wall on innovation. A great save on Rats Nest album, with the spot on thrash throwback, otherwise, King Gizzard albums are becoming more diluted the more they make. Skip it and revisit great more edgy releases like Rats Nest, Murder of the Universe and Microtonal Flying Banana albums. This one can be skipped unfortunately. A new twist on some doomy glitched out metal. Blood curdling vocals with a great doomy sound with a experimental spastic twist. Highly recommend to metal fans who are looking for something different.

A departure of depth in this new more fun Fiona release. Some enjoyable songs, but all in all, it sounds like a record made out of boredom, rather than the passion you hear on titles like 'Tidal' or 'The Idler's Wheel'. A deep personal journey set to music. Phil relives and reflects his entire career on this one song epic album. Best Microphones release since the Glow pt 2, and one of Phil's best period. A perfect album of reflection that anyone can relate to in 2020. Apropos title, as it sums up the mode of the album. This will be in my yearly top ten.
