Very different to Caribou's other stuff - much more 'eletronic' in terms that Snaith seems to have moved away from the style of repeating a sample again and again - more tracks with Snaith's own voice which I quite liked. Nice direction change.

This feels like an exceptional end to a truly exceptional 2019 for one of our favourite bands.

We were promised heavier for Part II and the sounds on show here are HUGE. Black Bull, Like Lightning & 10,000 ft. are all massive tracks with epic riffs and bass lines with one-liners and loops that keep on giving. This record possibly represents Foals' most complete and expansive body of work to date. It takes everything that makes Foals one of the best bands around today whilst adding a complexity and layered sound that has undoubtedly come from their departing bassist.

Yannis' voice is more prominent than ever and thick bass weaves throughout many of the tracks. This is a record that will not only age well but will provide listeners immediate satisfaction.
