this album actually makes me angry. the synths redone are so bad compared to the perfection of the original. some of the backing vocals sound like a group of school children singing. also a lot of the mixing bothers me and sounds muffled and just plain bad. it only gets this high of a score because it’s a remake of a pop masterpiece.

i wish people would give tayla parx her flowers as she is essentially single-handedly responsible for ariana grande’s top hits, which shines through certain tracks on this album. as a whole, i wish the album felt more like a completed work that can stand on its own, but when it’s good it’s gooood

gorgeous. i wish the harmonies that are louder in the live version that was teased were in the actual track, but it’s okay. i think this song healed me nonetheless

everyone saying the songwriting sucks can’t understand how cunty and camp this song is. i love all of it genuinely. no laughing matter here

such a dreamy ep. very cutesy, not too serious, but melting is truly beautiful. i wish all of the songs were as captivating as melting, lottery, ridin’ round, and loner :( but they are still nice

i feel this album pushed ariana to new heights, especially w/ help from pharrell as his tracks are amazing. bubbly, angelic sweetness that harmoniously mixes with the deeper flavors seen in for example “better off”

a masterpiece. i wish i could listen to this for the first time again, i’ve never heard anything like it and probably never will. electric!!!!

one of my all time favorite songs. the songwriting is incredible and perfectly encapsulates the beauty of being in love (i surmise as i’ve never been…) jack did fantastic w/ the production as per usual

i’m sorry the production goes so hard. not an exceptionally shocking performance from 21, just his usual delivery—which still is great

all i listened to all of 2023. i love when an album is cohesive to its theme (the majority of it is), but i will say some tracks stray away and aren’t as strong at the same time which lowers my rating. sza is mommy though :D
