Tommy Richman - WORLDS APART*
78

I think this is a really solid and catchy EP. Although I would never say this is the strongest album ever, I think it is an enjoyable listen. I really liked Coyote as well. I think Tommy Richman has potential. He is definately comfortable in his current sound and think he has room to grow as an artist
Highlights: STUCK IN MY HEAD, AMEN !, WEST COAST, BOTHER ME
Lowlights: ACTIN UP

Mac DeMarco - Another One
84

A solid LP from Mac. Definatlely one of my favorite albums from him.
Highlights: No Other Heart, A Heart Like Hers, Just to Put Me Down

Tame Impala - Deadbeat
90

A great album. I have listened to this album from start to finish more times than I can count. Although this strays from Tame Imapla' original sound, I think it works well, however, I can see how this album could be dissapointing for OG fans. As a newer listener, I think it's great.
Highlights: My Old Ways, Dracula, Loser, Afterthought, Obsolete
Lowlights: Not My World, Ethreal Connection, End of Summer

Khalid - after the sun goes down
70

A good pop album but I can definately see this album going stale quickly. Very trendy music and production style and many of the songs blend together in my opinion. Could have been a few songs shorter, it seems like the end of the album is loaded with fillers. Definately not up to the caliber of Kahlid's earlier work but overall enjoyable listen.
Highlights: in plain sight, nah, tank top, whenever you're gone
Lowlights: momentary lovers, yes no maybe, angel boy, hurt people

Drake - Certified Lover Boy
70

Great Drake Album. Definately not his best work but a solid album in my opinion
HIghlights: Champagne Poetry, Papi's Home, Fair Trade, TSU, Pipe Down
Lowights: Way 2 Sexy, Get Along Better, IMY2

Mac DeMarco - Salad Days
90

Easily his best album in my opinion. Fantastic easy listening
Highlights: Salad Days, Let Her Go, Goodbye Weekend, Treat Her Better, Chamber of Reflection

JACKBOYS - JACKBOYS 2
70

This album did not blow me away upon the first listen. After giving it a few more listens, it grew on me. However, I do not see this as an album that I will be returning to for years to come. I think there are a few good songs but overall the album lacks soul in my opinion. Compared to much of Travis Scott's previous work, I think this seems to fall short. I do like the album but feel that it fell a little short of my expectations.
Highlights: KICK OUT, DUMBO, CHAMPAIN & VACAY, 2000 ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
90

I have to say, this is a phenomnal album. I don't often love albums first listen through, but I this album was so catchy from the first listen. Tyler the Creator's music is truly unique and he always seems to pull it off experimenta music styles in a way that many other eartists would not be able to. I also think the abum's short length is amazing because it leaves me wanting more. I think there is such a beauty to short albums with solid songs and this is a perfect example. I ... read more

Gwen Stefani - This Is What the Truth Feels Like
54

An album that feels hallow and empty and soulless. There are a few strong songs, but the rest of the album blends together and is forgettable. So disappointing considering there was a ten year wait for this album.
Highlights: Used To Love You, Truth, Rare, Where Would I Be?
Lowlights: Send Me A Picture, Asking 4 It, Red Flag, Naughty

Gwen Stefani - Love. Angel. Music. Baby.
84

The album that marked the start of Gwen's solo career definitely asserting her dominance in the pop world. So many strong songs that hold up years later. Gwen shows a lot of energy and variety in her unique music that definitely separated her from many other artists and makes her uniquie.
Highlights: What You Waiting For?, Hollaback Girl, Cool
Lowlights: Harajuku Girls, The Real Thing

Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape
80

Contrary to how many others feel, I think The Sweet Escape is a great follow up to Love, Angel, Music, Baby. It is definitely not as strong as its preceeder, but it is a very fun pop record. I think there is a good variety of songs that makes this album a great listen. An album I love going to back to many years later.
Highlights: The Sweet Escape, Wind It Up, Orange County Girl, 4 In the Morning, Wonderful Life
Lowlights: Yummy, Now That You Got It, Don't Get It Twisted

64

An album that is longer than it needs to be. I think this is something that many artists do. Prioritizing quantity over quality. If a few of the weaker songs were cut, I think the album would have been better overall. She could have even eneded it after Come See About Me in my opinion. There are some solid songs on this record, however, many of the songs fall incredibly flat
Highlights: Barbie Dreams, Rich Sex, Hard White, Good Form, Come See About Me
Lowlights: Sir, Miami, Coco Channel, Nip ... read more

Ariana Grande - thank u, next
92

So quickly after the large success of sweeteneer, thank u, next was released and kept Ariana's forward momentum going. A very strong album that shows Ariana in a very different headspace than in sweetener. A fanstastic pop album. Only weakness to this album in my opinion is the excessive intros to many of the songs
Highlights: break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored, bloodline, bad idea, 7 rings, needy, make up, thank u, next, in my head
Lowlights: NASA, ghostin,

Ariana Grande - Sweetener
88

An experimental album that worked so well. Ariana changed up her sound drastically with this album, but, it worked so well and left many people astonished. Ariana had big shoes to fill following Dangerous Woman, and sweetener was a fanstic and different way to follow up this powerhouse of a record. I could have definitely done without a few of the songs, but overall great record.
Highlights: God is a woman, everytime, get well soon, the light is coming, R.E.M., blazed, no tears left to cry, ... read more

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman
95

Ariana's best album to date in my opinion. An album that shows her range as an artist and highlights her strong vocals. So many meaningful lyrics that feel very authentic. This album has aged like fine wine since its release.
Highlights: Leave Me Lonely, Dangerous Woman, Be Alright, Into You, Moonlight, Side to Side, Let Me Love You, Thinkin Bout You
Lowlights: Everyday

Ariana Grande - Positions
70

Positions feels boring. I can appreciate how cohesive the album is, but as a whole, it is dissapointing from somone who has such a strong and powerful voice. Many songs are cheesy and forgettable. I remember feeling extremely disappointed with this record upon first listen.
Highlights: my hair, pov, west side, 34+35, nasty, love language, positions, obvious
Lowlights: shut up, just like magic, off the table

No Doubt - Rock Steady
77

With this album, No Doubt adapted a slightly different sound and they did such a great job doing so. This record sounds so 2001 but keeps No Doubt's roots. So many great songs that I love listening to still 24 years after the record's release. However, a few songs are clearly filler tracks.
Highlights: Hey Baby, Running, Rock Steady
Lowlights: Don't Let Me Down, Start the Fire, Waiting Room

No Doubt - No Doubt
72

Such a unique and unusual record. I can definitely say that I would not be drawn to this album if I did not like No Doubt's other work. Knowing and appreciating No Doubt's quirkiness, I can appreciate and enjoy this album. However, some of the songs are very odd.
Highlights: Move On, Sometimes, Sad For Me, Let's Get Back, Brand New Day
Lowlights: BND, A Little Something Refreshing, Paulina

No Doubt - The Beacon Street Collection
78

Such a great EP. I love how rock heavy this project is for them but still showcasing No Doubt's quirkiness. Such a unique album.
Highlights: Snakes, Stricken, Total Hate 95
Lowlights: By the Way, That's Just Me

No Doubt - Push and Shove
20

Such a dissapointing comeback album. It's almost painful to listen to and super cringy. Considering there was so much anticipation for this album, it was a huge let down. So many of the songs are very skippable. Even the best songs on this album aren't great.
Highlights: Sparkle, One More Summer, Settle Down
Lowlights: Gravity, Heaven, Dreaming the Same Dream
