coming into this album I had very high expectations from her last project, sadly these expectations were not met but I gave myself time before coming up with a rushed decision. after a couple listens of both this album and happier than ever I've come to the conclusion that as good as this album is, it does not surpass the last album.
with that out of the way I think hit me hard and soft has very high highs but also some songs that just don't connect.
it is not that consistent compared ... read more
don't know why but floating just clicked with me massively after something personal on my life. circles has been a fav of mine for a while and now it clicks even more
this is one of those albums that you always discover from "that one friend" it gets very heartwarming at times but also some of the ambient tracks have an eerie feeling

of course I am not rating this as purely an album but as a movie OST
REALLY REALLY in love with this album, has its weak moments but the songs are so soothing and make me feel so warm
New glass beach album! plastic death definitely feels like a shift from their first album, although you can definitely still hear a lot of things from the last one.
the thing I really loved about the last album was the really good pauses that it had which I feel like this one lacked? guitar song and whalefall feel like these interludes, which is probably why they are some of my favourites from here, I feel like they hold the album together. overall an amazing album, I wouldn't call it an ... read more
this album was so good it made me rethink some of the rating I had before.
from 84 to 100, even if there are a couple songs that I just don't like I can't deny it. this album is amazing and def one of my fav albums of all time
update: oh well oh well, I can't believe I ever gave this album an 84. it is no doubt one of the best albums I've ever heard. if I could give it a score higher than a 100/100 I would. my opinion on this album got even better after their new album dropped.
fun fact: (forever?????????) is one of my most listened to songs of all time
not going to lie to you, from the basement clearly gets a 100 from me
edit: grew on me a little, still think from the basement is vastly superior.
