Hmm... AJR is weird. Somehow a lot of their discog is just plain similar. You could show me any AJR song I could mistake it for any other AJR song or for that matter any 2010's pop song with a thugnificent type-beat being beat over my head time and time again in FM radio stations. The production value is insane for a seventeen-year-old. It's pretty bright, consistent throughout and I think they do some neat combinations like the ambience in Alive, Always mixed with the acoustic guitar loop. There's also a switch halfway through the song which is pulled off wonderfully.
