Why is Halsey’s catalog so highly rated? Everything I’ve heard from her sounds so generic and fake-“diva” that it makes me want to rip my fucking eye out of its socket. Her voice is awful, and the production is okay, I guess, but it doesn’t save the song. I’m being real with you guys, lol — Halsey is awful. It also doesn’t help that my family was obsessed with her, so it became extremely overplayed, and I never liked the fucking song in the first place.

Idk if I’d call 60s-70s highly rated, but I do think most of the later ratings (Manic onward) are deserved.

@r4j Fair enough but I everything I've heard from The Great Impersonator or whatever has been below average at best so I still don't get the hype unfortunately
