Often overlooked, The Bends is actually a very good album. When one year ago my at the time rockheaded ass listened to this, he thought it was the best album of all time. Sadly for this masterpiece, it is not even top 3 in Radiohead's discography. It's still one of the best alt rock records from the post grunge era. The songwriting is extremely good, and the lyrics are touching in every song. Overall, this is the perfect middle ground between the clssic and grungy Pablo Honey and the revolutionary OK Computer.
Without The Bends, there is no Ok Computer. Don't ever forget it. #RespectTheBends
