Prior to my review I think it's worth mentioning that Swae Lee, collaborator with your favorite hip hop artist most likely, decided to let NAV, French Montana, and Post Malone onto the same album with him, why:

Aside from a handful of standout moments scattered across an otherwise underwhelming tracklist, Same Difference feels like an uncertain statement from Swae Lee. For an artist known for his distinct, melodic creativity, the album comes across more as a question than a declaration, leaving longtime fans searching for the spark that once defined his sound.

There are glimpses of that brilliance, particularly on tracks like Mural featuring Jhené Aiko, which stand out as some of the more compelling and potentially overlooked entries in his catalog. These moments hint at what the project could have been, showcasing a more inspired and cohesive direction.

At the same time, there is a subtle sense of pleasant surprise in the stylistic choices he explores here, suggesting a willingness to experiment and evolve. However, despite these flashes of promise, the album ultimately feels incomplete, as if it is missing a handful of essential elements needed to fully realize its potential.
