I am the first to admit that it is hard to take Addison Rae seriously when it comes to music. Especially after her droplets and first attempts from years ago, kinda cringe-worthy tbh. HOWEVER, when I heard Diet Pepsi for the first time, I began to pay closer attention. While this isn't some indie pop-bible that demands a listen like she may have wanted, it is still a fun and enjoyable record. I think if people listen to it without thinking about Addison's past, they will find fun in the music. The production is fantastic, it is what carries the record overall for me. I think this is a great start for her, and hopefully she only tries harder.
