This entire tape is just straight dogshit, there's no other way to put it.
The only redeeming factor and why I'm giving it a 10, is because of the track "Beware" as that's the one good track on the entire tape.
Honestly I don't see the hype at all about this tape.
It has really ass mixing, It's not special or anything and it's overall just a very bland project.
None of it really clicks, and it's all just very boring.
Amazing project from the duo, delivers in every way.
From the soundscape, to the vocals, to the production. It's all beautiful.
This entire project is amazing and may honestly be close to mac's best if it wasn't for Circles.
Has some great tracks but I think it's just a bit lackluster.
Don't get me wrong it's a very solid project that is highly praised, but I just think there's alot of filler that doesn't really need to be there.
The mixtape that basically put Chicago drill on the map and still manages to bang hard more than a decade later.
We love you big sosa.
Conway flows over some of the most iconic beats you can think of, and he hits EVERY time without fail.
The GAT is a masterpiece.
Short, jazz rap perfection.
August Fanon is primarily responsible for the flawless production, which lasts less than 30 minutes and features complex drumming, lush horns, and dusty, psychedelic beats. This is where Mach's flows peak in his career, with incredible instrumentals throughout.
It's a gem.
It managed to get worse.
Just an unfinished mess. Easily one of the weakest projects in Kanye's discog and a low point for 2024 hip-hop.
The production feels rushed and sloppy with poor mixing, abrupt endings, and even fucking AI usage.
Kanye's verses are often mumbled, victim playing, or just genuinely dogshit.
I don't mind this one from Ye.
Sure it isn't the best work he's released in recent years, but it has songs that are catchy, and Ty Dolla $ign's vocals on each track sells the project.
How do you manage to take an already not good album, and then just completely decimate it before release?
Well Yeezy set the trend.
Banger after banger.
A solid Memphis trap project. Raw, consistent, and full of that PRE sound.
