Guardin delivers a genuinely great and heartfelt project. I feel like emo rap has more and more gone to shit in the years following 2019 but this is honestly some of the best material from the genre I've heard from the genre in a long time. Guardin sings about his life experiences in a tone that I can only call emotionally hopeless, and it really does help the record sound authentic. The production here is great as well, there are some pretty cool somewhat experimental ideas on some tracks here, and the beats for "True Colors" and "Jetlag" bring out the emotion and angst in Guardin's voice just that little bit more to make it sound like a force of emotion. All in all, this is a good project that I think deserves a lot more recognition than it has.

Track ratings:
1.Three, Two, One: (7/10) I really dig the lofi vinyl sound on this one, and the background "oooohhs" mixed with the reversed piano makes it sound relaxing af
2. Jetlag: (8/10) first song I heard off of this, and this is great. I especially love the bass line and the vocals layered on top of each other towards the end.
3. True Colors ft. KenedyXoXo: (9/10) Favorite song on the album, really chill lofi beat with some nice guitar and an atmospheric sound. Also I don't know who KenedyXoXo is, but he did pretty well so shoutout to him.
4. On The Wall: (5/10) Probably the most mid song on the album for me, production is kinda boring, song is super short and forgettable. Not terrible however so I respect it.
5. Eugene: (6/10) I dig this production quite a bit, the song itself is somewhat forgettable but not as much so as On The Wall.
6. Impossible: (6/10) This is the typical emo rap song, nothing really special about it, although I do like some of Guardin's cadences on this.
7. Perfect: (7/10) This reminds me of old peep and in a good way. Beat is pretty good as well.
8. For A Reason: (7/10) this is pretty good, the vocal effects over Guardin's voice are pretty creative, and the production is very distinct.
9. Geronimo: (9/10) This song is definitely one of my favorites and I love how messy and lofi it sounds. It's a great acoustic song.
10. Homebound: (8/10) I like this song a lot. This again reminds me of old peep but does that sound much better than "Perfect". The vocal stutters at the end are great as well.

Best tracks: Three, Two, One, Jetlag, True Colors, Geronimo, Homebound
