this is so much better than i remembered omg?? the hooks on this album are so catchy. the album only falters on the ballads but they’re still enjoyable. lucky is a career highlight for me, it captures her spirit like nothing else had up until that point. what u see could’ve been a hit. the talking interludes are so cute as well. a great sophomore for her and that time. you can feel that it would’ve been a really exciting era to live through and first listen

Although iconic, this album is simply full of filler. It would be a much better listen if it was 10 tracks long like Spice. The singles are good for the most part, from the bottom is a dud but bomt and sometimes are tens. Beat goes on and soda pop are the only interesting deep cuts for me. I can see why it sold so much but it’s just too of it’s time.
