I really have no right rating this album. I'm not a huge fan of electronica, thus I'm not particularly knowledgeable about what is considered good. But, there's some pretty specific things I can say about this record.
When I listen to "After Forever", I imagine that this is what an alien abduction would sound like. The opener, 'Rush' sounds like Unsolved Mysteries from the 80s. My train of thought automatically goes to Robert Stack and his trench coat.

This icool little concept album/mixtape, with lyrics based around the main character, Ace, from the movie Paid in Full, is criminally underrated
For both the DJ and the rapper, this album sees two prolific artists meeting in their peak years of production. Le$ has released about 30 mixtapes/albums while Cookin Soul has released about 40. For these guys, hip hop is, in fact, a lifestyle. This album feels like one of their more cohesive offerings - there's not a single track on here ... read more

When I listen to this mixtape, I can’t shake it’s resemblance to those ... read more
