How is it that everyone on this website LOVES the new viagra boys album with all its silly fun lyrics, JUST as goofy as the lyrics on AI Girlfriend, yet that is the lowest rated song on this EP? Maybe y'all just don't like the beat? But the beat FUCKS. I can't get that stuttering glittery synth line out of my head, and I sound ridiculous trying to sing it.
5 and half minutes into Hold On, I'm Coming the most nasty guitar tone comes out of nowhere. It's almost a 90s garage/noise sound. Completely wild to play over a Jazz Fusion song.
Soooo many crazy vocal runs and melodies from this pop up in my head randomly and stay there for the next 24 hours
The lyrics are snarky, blunt, and outlandish, but the sincerity of the delivery sells every word. It perfectly toes the line between making a Comedy Album and an Album that's comedic. The instrumentation is also kick-ass and really elevates this to another level of fun.
Sonic equivalent of eating pop-rocks and McDonald's sprite but 6 beers deep and kinda freaky but also lonely
Listening Tarkus and staring at the art work in the gatefold is best listening experience
This will just have to be my average rating for most roy acuff albums

"I'm confused by a lot of this argumentation. If post-rap doesn't exist than post-rock shouldn't either. The point of throwing "post-" in front of a genre is to signifify a complete aesthetic shift from the core of a genre while still maintaining it's central ethos.
We can say clipping, JPEGMAFIA, and Danny Brown are experimental rappers because they play with aesthetics and push the boundaries of rap. Judging By Storm's newest output, they are not interested in pushing boundaries, they ignore the boundaries all together.
I guess all of this is to say, you can call a Goodspeed You! Black Emperor album experimental rock and that'd be fine. You can call a single by By Storm Experimental Rap and that's fine. But to describe either as "post-""
