Kenny gets better and better and it’s great to see. This feels more on the experimental side but he’s really putting his versatility on display. The genre blending is becoming a staple to him which makes sense when you collab with artists like Paris, Texas and JID. Great songwriting and great production, what else could you want? If you haven’t checked him out yet, this is a good place to start. He’s here to stay.

After hearing Not Allowed so much, I didn’t realize how much they would incorporate hiphop/lo-fi along with bedroom pop in their album. It’s memorable, it’s catchy, and a solid listen. Andre 3000’s line “yall don’t hear me, yall just wanna dance” is a great example in this album. While it’s upbeat, the lyrics are more depressing. Going back and forth to where I was intrigued. A fan of this one.

Incredible album. Absolutely love Adrianne’s vocals here as they’re so warm and distinct. Reminds me of Jessica Pratt. Staying away from too much production is such a great move here. The acoustic guitar and Adrianne’s vocals are all you need. Much more intimate that way and the songwriting is top tier.

Solid record from BNYX. He has become one of the more prolific producers today and it’s nice to see producers drop an album and showcase what they’re capable of. Solid features, great vibe, and great beats. Coming back to this as we get to summer.

I was intrigued by this album from front to back and it makes sense knowing now that Björn had their hands on the production. I can imagine a few of these tracks being on a FIFA soundtrack. Starting off with that energy in "Youth Knows No Pain" as the intro really set the tone for this project. Followed by popular track "I Follow Rivers" (I won't lie, Drake's interpolation brought my attention back here). Lykke's versatility with her vocals is a major ... read more
