This album means a lot to me. Mother i sober is one of the most impactful songs I’ve ever heard. There is so much amazing writing and production across this whole project.
My main gripes are that the sonic vision isn’t allways as consistent as previous projects, and also the song silent hill doesnt feel like it contributes to the album that much.
My only main gripe with this album is that there isn’t very much variation to songs, so sometimes they struggle to find their own unique identity. That being said I think it’s full of instant classics and beautiful sentiment.

Very fun album. great west coast vibes. However I do feel like this is definitely Kendrick’s lowest effort project. And I think the last leg of it is overall weaker then the start.
