As good as everyone says. Perfect album.

I’ve heard of Lupe, and slightly heard of Food and Liquor, but my god this is amazing. Not often do you get high energy storytelling like this. This album sounds perfect, and the ideas in this album are just as good. For the past three days this is the only thing I can listen to, and it has only gotten better each time. This album felt like it was on the right track compared to recent Drake projects, but it still did not deliver. The thought that occurred the most throughout this albums was that I just don’t care what he is talking about. A lot of these tracks sounded great, but they were polluted by constant Drake complaining and flat lyrics. I expect corny lyrics, but the slower, more grindy beats did not help him. By no means is this a mind blowing, polished project, but at least it’s something tolerable out of Ye. In fact, it is the first time his music has had some significance in quite some time. This album has a very sad tone, and it is hard to see Ye this way. He gives us some insight while having lyrics that carry actual weight.
