Me rating Kent's albums: #3 (Yes, I am doing these out of order)
With their fourth album here, Kent seems to be creating a sound that is both not too radio-friendly nor too forgettable. Favorite song: Stoppa mig juni (lilla ego). A masterpiece both musically and ... read more
While I do like Du & jag döden, the other album of Kent's I've listened to so far, more, there is no denying that Verkligen is still really (no pun intended) solid. Compared to Du & jag döden, it feels more raw. While there are a couple songs that sound a bit monotone, there are also many great songs that make this album a very worthy listen. An amazing album with no real lows. Is is so good I have been listening to it on repeat for the last two weeks and I am still not bored of it.
Least favorite song: I don't know, maybe Rosor & palmblad? It is still very beautiful and underrated, but it is somewhat forgettable.
Most favorite song: Romeo återvänder ensam, the song that made me listen to the whole album in the first place. It is just perfect.
Favorite lyrics: Mannen i den vita hatten (16 år senare).
