This is my first Turnstile project. All I can say is WOW. It's something I really really enjoyed.
I hit play on a whim, and left it on for the whole day. There is a lot going on here, and I love that about this project.
I had the singles to this project in heavy rotation leading up to this release, and needless to say I was very excited! This project checks a lot of boxes for me, and I WILL be returning to it multiple times. It is an easy listen, with some great higher-intensity moments, followed by some sweet riffs to mellow it out. Vocals are mint here, and were the main draw for me. The highlights were still the singles for me: Say My Name, Coda, All For Nothing.
My goats did it again. I could listen to Courtney sing and scream all day, and I usually do.
I really enjoyed this album. I thought there were a lot of great songs, and a surprising amount of variety that I was not quite expecting. It was a really memorable first listen, and having revisited it recently, I enjoyed it just as much. I think this album is a smooth ride all the way through.
