Exploring genres like King Gizz at this point goddamn. But I gotta say I was much more interested in the first song, the production and mixing sound really clean. Second song is a glimpse into Magdalena gaze and I love the sound of that, but as for the song itself it feels like it doesn’t really go places. It’s still a nice dreamy vibe though, kinda feels like it would be a fitting closer.
First of all, 6/6. No bad song found.
Unoriginal was anything but unoriginal, just as I expected. It’s chill, I like it! Weakest of the 6 new songs to me but not by much. You got an acoustic guitar beat… and being a whore for automatic doors (based af Mica).
Black-Eyed Susan Climb rocks and is the most different sounding song compared to the rest of the discog by far. Love how this one builds up, and how explosive it gets on the last minute. I like the vocal melodies in this one ... read more
Nothing deep but it doesn’t need to be, just a chock full of upbeat, floaty vibes on this one
I’ve been giving all these songs multiple chances ever since the album dropped, I figured I’d give this album time to marinate before giving my proper review. Overall: Yeah, I think this is his worst album and isn’t on the level of quality found in the previous four. So why is my rating not that low then? Because it’s not even bad! I really vibe with some of these songs, and others I wouldn’t mind listening to every once in a while.
