This is one of the best albums to release this year. Definitely a top album of the decade. The free jazz feel along with the production go absolutely nuts. Listen to this album on the best audio equipment you can find.
It's crazy for Lil Wayne to drop an album on the same week two objectively better rap albums come out.
I haven't really enjoyed clipping in the past I think I had the same issue with them as I have with Death Grips. That being said, this is an excellent entry point into a 'harder' hip-hop that you don't here a lot of in the mainstream. Production is crunchy and fun. I will say that I haven't listened with lyrics up yet I can't speak for lyricism (though what I've noticed with flows I doubt I'll be disappointed).
This album is, I think, the perfect example for why I hate the Playboi Carti album.
Headline: Drake upset that K. Dot buried his career. Not to be outdone Drake ends his own career by releasing one of the most boring and uninteresting collaboration albums of all time.
I would love to see when this album started production in relation to the Beef and the GNX drop. Because there is still some mentions of the beef and some things that I could see Drake adding after the release of GNX (anyone who listened to MEET YOUR PADRE kind of know what I'm getting at.
